Assistant Professor Dr. Sada Abdul-Khaliq Hassan, a faculty member at the College of Engineering, Al-Qadisiyah University, co-authored a research paper with international researchers titled “A Building Information Modeling (BIM)-Based Framework for Evaluating Major Construction Projects Using Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Indicators,” published in the Ain Shams Engineering Journal, published by Elsevier. The paper presents an advanced scientific framework that links BIM technologies with SDG indicators to evaluate mega construction projects from the early planning and design stages. The study identified 276 potential relationships between BIM functions and SDG indicators, with 113 high-impact relationships statistically verified and achieving very high reliability coefficients (Cronbach’s alpha = 0.981 and 0.992). This reinforces the strength of the proposed model and its applicability to large-scale projects. It is worth noting that the Ain Shams Engineering Journal is ranked in the first quartile (Q1) of the Scopus database and has a CiteScore of 12.2. Clarivate Analytics has an impact factor of 5.9.
