A research team from the College of Science at Al-Qadisiyah University, consisting of Professor Dr. Auras Adnan Hatem, Assistant Professor Dr. Luay Ali Khalil, Lecturer Dr. Dhaq Ahmed Alwan, and Lecturer Dr. Ban Adnan Hatem, published a scientific paper entitled “Design, Synthesis, and Evaluation of the Corrosion Inhibition Efficiency of a 4-Aminoantipyrine-Based Formazan Derivative for Carbon Steel in Acidic Environments” in the journal *Chemical Physics Impact*, indexed in Scopus in the first quartile (Q1) with an impact factor of 4.3.
The research addressed the design and preparation of a new Formazan derivative and studied its efficiency as a corrosion inhibitor for carbon steel in acidic environments.
