Khaled Hassan Al-Jasmi, a faculty member at the College of Biotechnology at Al-Qadisiyah University, in collaboration with researchers from Spanish universities, published a paper titled “Predicting the Performance of Industrial Organizations through Processes Supported by Information and Communication Technologies: The Interaction Between Staff Capabilities and Organizational Commitment” in the Business Process Management Journal, ranked in the first quartile (Q1) with an Impact Factor of 5.8 and a Scopus CiteScore of 9.7. The research integrates participatory budgeting with PLS-SEM structural equation modeling and artificial neural networks to analyze the factors affecting administrative performance with high accuracy. It demonstrates the ability of neural networks to predict performance and clarifies that the impact of participatory budgeting is enhanced by staff efficiency, organizational commitment, and the support of information and communication technologies.
