Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Nabil Omran Al-Khalidi, Dean of the College of Arts, and with the follow-up of Professor Dr. Abbas Sabbar Dakhel, Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division at the College of Arts, Al-Qadisiyah University, held a workshop entitled “The Role of Scientific Research in Achieving Institutional Accreditation.” The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Mai Jalil Abdul.
The workshop addressed the importance of scientific research as a fundamental pillar in achieving accreditation standards and ensuring the quality of educational outcomes. It also highlighted the role of scientific research in supporting innovation and serving the community, in addition to the importance of rigorous scientific publication and building research partnerships, which contribute to raising the institution’s ranking and enhancing its academic standing.
The workshop recommended supporting researchers, encouraging scientific publication, promoting applied research relevant to the community, developing researchers’ skills through training workshops, and activating research partnerships both locally and internationally.
