Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Nabil Imran Musa Al-Khalidi, the Human Rights Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Arts, held a workshop entitled “The Role of the University Community in Upholding Human Rights Principles.” The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturers Mayasin Qaid Mayeh and Sarah Saad Abdul, and moderated by Assistant Lecturer Tamadher Razzaq Abbas.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness among the university community—students, faculty, and staff—regarding the upholding of human rights principles and to cultivate positive behaviors that support rights and freedoms within the university, thus contributing to the creation of a safe and equitable learning environment.
Among the workshop’s key recommendations was the organization of workshops and training courses targeting all members of the university community to enhance awareness and practical application of human rights principles
