The Department of Materials Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Qadisiyah University, organized a training course entitled “Using Sliding Mode Controllers in Control Systems” in the Continuing Education Hall. The course was presented by Eng. Amjad Hassoun Saleh.
The course aimed to clarify and explain how to use sliding mode controllers (SMCs) in control systems using MATLAB, and to demonstrate the impact of this type of controller on many systems, especially nonlinear systems, in order to achieve the desired optimal system state. The course targeted engineers in electronics and communications engineering, as well as mechanical engineers and other departments whose research includes a component related to control systems.
