Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Salwan Ali Ubaid, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit held a scientific workshop entitled “Domestic Violence and its Repercussions on Community Security.” The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Taif Mazhar Muslim.
The workshop aimed to highlight the dangers of domestic violence as a phenomenon that threatens the sustainability of society, to promote a culture of non-violence as an integral part of human nature, and to guide victims towards psychological rehabilitation centers to overcome trauma.
Key recommendations included providing free family counseling centers in residential neighborhoods and conducting training courses on family building, healthy communication, and anger management.
