The Department of Pathological Analysis at the College of Science, Al-Qadisiyah University, organized a training course entitled “Sustainable Use of Natural Resources in Bio-Industries.” The course was presented by Dr. Ammar Nabil Moujad and Mr. Haider Abdul Hussein.
The course aimed to raise awareness of the importance of utilizing resources in a balanced manner without harming the environment. It focused on the concept of sustainability and its role in reducing the depletion of natural resources. The course also explained how biotechnology can be employed in the production of environmentally friendly materials such as biofuels and bio-products.
Furthermore, the course included practical examples from the food, pharmaceutical, and agricultural industries, highlighting the role of scientific research in developing innovative and sustainable solutions. It encouraged the adoption of responsible industrial practices that support the green economy.
