The Department of Highway and Transportation Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Qadisiyah University, organized a specialized training course entitled “Engineering Design Using AutoCAD” as part of the program to develop the scientific and practical skills of the college’s students and staff. The course was presented by Assistant Lecturer Karim Mohammed Jassim and Assistant Lecturer Rand Mohammed Jassim.
The course aimed to enable participants to master the basic and advanced tools of AutoCAD, as it is the cornerstone of preparing accurate engineering drawings.
It covered several topics, including familiarization with the program interface and 2D drawing tools, how to work with layers, organizing complex drawings, and applying practical models for designing road routes and traffic intersections
