Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Hayawi Wiwa Atiya Al-Jawdhari, Dean of the College of Agriculture, the college held a scientific workshop entitled “Health Security in Conflict Zones: Challenges and Solutions.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Muhammad Jassim Hassan.
The workshop aimed to highlight the concept of health security in conflict-affected environments, discuss the challenges facing health systems, and review solutions and strategies that help ensure the continuity of health services and protect the health of affected communities.
Key recommendations included strengthening the emergency preparedness of health systems in conflict zones, ensuring the protection of health facilities and medical personnel, and supporting the continuity of medical supplies and essential health services for affected populations.
