Dr. Alaa Taha Yassin, a lecturer in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education, Al-Qadisiyah University, delivered a scientific lecture at the Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Affairs entitled “Restoring Self-Confidence After Addiction.” This lecture was part of awareness efforts aimed at supporting those recovering from addiction and promoting their mental health.
The lecture aimed to raise awareness among participants about the importance of psychological support during the recovery phase of addiction, to reinforce the concept of self-confidence among those recovering as a fundamental factor in psychological stability, to provide educational and psychological guidance to help individuals overcome the effects of addiction, and to highlight the role of educational and community institutions in supporting those recovering.
