Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Jawad Radif, a workshop was held at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at Al-Qadisiyah University. The workshop, titled “Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence,” was part of the Leadership and Innovation Week Festival (2025) and was held under the slogan “From Mesopotamia… Ideas Launch… Your Idea is Iraqi… Iraq Innovates.” It was presented by:
– Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Ta’ima Abdul-Kadhim and
– Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Mohsen Mahdi. The workshop highlighted the close relationship between mathematics and artificial intelligence, the role of mathematics in developing artificial intelligence, and how to utilize artificial intelligence in solving mathematical problems. The workshop concluded with a discussion of the ChatGPT program and its applications in solving mathematical problems.
The workshop also covered the close relationship between mathematics and artificial intelligence (AI), the role of mathematics in developing AI, and how to utilize AI in solving mathematical problems. It also addressed ChatGPT and its applications in solving mathematical problems through several key topics, including defining AI, mathematics, and AI, websites and applications for solving mathematics using AI, and the relationship between mathematics and ChatGPT.
The workshop recommended integrating AI concepts and their applications in solving mathematical problems into university mathematics curricula, with a focus on the mathematical foundations of AI algorithms.
