Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Professor Dr. Munir Abdul-Amir Abdul-Fatlawi, the college completed a workshop as part of Global Leadership Week activities, entitled “Uses of Antioxidants to Prevent Certain Diseases.” The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Ghazi Abdul-Shaheed. The workshop aimed to understand the role of antioxidants, identify their sources, grasp the relationship between oxidation and disease, and promote a healthy lifestyle.
The workshop concluded with a set of recommendations, including adopting a colorful diet, practicing smart cooking, avoiding excessive supplementation, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
