Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Biotechnology, Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdul Wahab Al-Askari, the college held a workshop entitled “The Role of the English Language in Women’s Empowerment.” The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdul Wahab Al-Askari and Assistant Lecturer Hadeel Sami Muhammad. The workshop discussed the importance of the English language in enhancing women’s opportunities in education and employment, and how to use it as a tool for women’s empowerment and self-development. Faculty and staff members of the college attended the workshop. This activity is part of Al-Qadisiyah University’s initiatives to empower women’s role in society.
