The College of Medicine at Al-Qadisiyah University held a scientific seminar on the Ilizarov apparatus in the treatment of congenital deformities as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Aqeel Rahim Hassan Al-Barqawi, and under the slogan “From the Land of the Two Rivers… Ideas Take Flight,” the College of Medicine at Al-Qadisiyah University held a scientific seminar on the Ilizarov apparatus in the treatment of congenital deformities as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week. The seminar was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Saleh Al-Janabi. The seminar aimed to highlight the Ilizarov apparatus as an effective treatment option for congenital deformities, especially in children, due to its ability to gradually correct bones and reduce the need for repeated surgical interventions. The seminar recommended the importance of enhancing academic and clinical training in the use of modern techniques in orthopedic surgery, which contributes to improving the level of medical services provided to patients.
