The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics, Al-Qadisiyah University, held a scientific workshop entitled “Data Analysis and its Role in the Quality of Academic Research.” The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Fadhil Abbas Kadhim. The workshop aimed to familiarize researchers with the importance of data analysis in identifying hidden trends and patterns within data. It also helps researchers make informed decisions during the research process, enhances research credibility, and makes results more acceptable within the scientific and academic community. The workshop addressed data analysis, which is considered the cornerstone of rigorous academic research because it is the link between data collection and the extraction of scientific knowledge. Without it, research becomes merely a presentation of information. Data analysis is the essence of academic research, and its quality is measured by the accuracy, depth, and objectivity of this analysis, as it is the foundation upon which results, recommendations, and new scientific knowledge are built.
