The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Bashir Shaker Al-Awadi, co-authored a scientific research paper with Professor Dr. Ali Mahdi Hadi entitled “Predicting a Biomechanical Model Using Neural Networks for the Serving Skill of Iraqi National Volleyball Team Players” in the journal ROD, indexed in Scopus, Scopus Indexed, Scimago, Q3. The research aimed to develop a model based on artificial neural networks to improve the analysis of serving skills in volleyball, integrating physiological and biomechanical compatibility results. The research included a biomechanical-physiological model designed according to its variables, and the collection and analysis of its components using advanced techniques. This study also utilized state-of-the-art equipment, including an electromyography (EMG) device that measures the electrical activity of muscles, and the Biosyn system, which provides data on body length and angular position through its integrated sensors.
