Under the patronage of the respected President of the University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Scientific Assistant, Professor Dr. Sattar Abdul Hassan Jabbar Al-Fatlawi, and in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education, a scientific course was held to discuss the sustainable development plan at Al-Qadisiyah University for the respected heads of departments and branches in the colleges of our university. Presented by:
– Prof. Dr. Mai Jalil Abdul – Head of the Sustainable Development Unit at Al-Qadisiyah University
– and Assistant Lecturer Hala Abbas Mahdi / College of Education for Girls.
The course included a general review of the seventeen sustainable development goals as well as discussing the sustainable development plan at our beloved university. It also included details of the Green Matrix classification for environmental sustainability, and a set of courses for renewable and sustainable energy were proposed.
The course recommended the necessity of joint cooperation between the heads of departments and branches at the university with the officials of the sustainable development units in the colleges and the university to achieve the above-mentioned goals.
