Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Sattar Abdul-Hassan Al-Fatlawi, and with the follow-up of the Director of the Science and Technology Parks Department, Professor Dr. Waqas Ghalib Atshan, the department’s Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division held an educational course entitled “Deviance and Homosexuality (Homosexuality).” The course was presented by:

The course aimed to highlight the importance of spreading cultural awareness in societies, where homosexuality has been used as a tool of soft warfare directed against society. The course included an introduction to the causes of homosexuality: psychological, environmental, and emotional, the view of religions on homosexuality and its impact on personal status issues, negative phenomena in Islamic societies, and the role of moral rules in criminalizing homosexuality.
