Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul-Amir Abdul-Fattlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Internal Medicine at the college held a seminar on the effects of Vitamin A deficiency on farm animals. The seminar was presented by Dr. Zafar Rashid Hamid.
The seminar aimed to understand the effects of Vitamin A deficiency on farm animals and the resulting clinical signs, including night blindness and impaired vision, delayed growth, rough skin, weakened immunity, reduced fertility, abortions, and fetal malformations.
