The Psychological and Educational Counseling Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University held a scientific lecture entitled “The International Day for the Eradication of Poverty.” The lecture was presented by Dr. Dharam Musa Abbas and Dr. Basma Tawfiq Saleh. The lecture addressed the definition of poverty and methods for combating it. Poverty is considered one of the most serious challenges facing human development, affecting the lives of millions of people and depriving them of their basic rights to food, housing, education, and healthcare.
