A faculty member from the College of Science at Al-Qadisiyah University participates in an international training course for climate change adaptation.

Assistant Professor Dr. Zahida Miran Hussein, a faculty member at the College of Science, Al-Qadisiyah University, participated in a training program on climate change adaptation hosted by the Continuing Education Center at Al-Nahrain University. The program was held under the auspices of the University President, Professor Dr. Ali Al-Shawi, in cooperation with the National Adaptation Plans Network, and in the presence of German trainer Katharina Schmidt, Climate Change Adaptation Policy Advisor at the National Adaptation Plans Network. The aim of the program was to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to train others on climate change adaptation and to raise awareness of the importance of climate change adaptation in Iraq. The program saw the participation of several experts and specialists in the field of environment and climate change from the Ministries of Environment and Higher Education, who presented lectures and workshops on best practices in climate change adaptation.
