An awareness campaign was held at the College of Arts, Al-Qadisiyah University, to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yassiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Nabil Imran Musa Al-Khalidi, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Arts, Al-Qadisiyah University, organized an awareness campaign to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, entitled “Towards a Society Free of Violence against Women.” The campaign focused on the psychological and social aspects related to empowering and supporting women, calling for strengthening communication with relevant organizations working to combat violence against women and raising awareness of the legal and social protection mechanisms available to them. This campaign is part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence and aims to raise community awareness, stimulate institutional and civil efforts to reduce violence against women, and build a safer and more stable environment for women in society.
