Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Dirgham Al-Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Nursing at Al-Qadisiyah University, and at the invitation of the Women’s Affairs Department at the Governorate Office, and in cooperation with the Ishraqat Development Organization, Dr. Dalal Zamat Hamza, Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Nursing, participated in the workshop entitled “Women Making Change in Muthanna and Diwaniyah: From Digital Narratives to Leadership, Alliances, and Awareness Against Violence.”
The workshop covered several vital aspects, including defining violence against women and its types, providing contextual examples, discussing the phenomenon of sexual violence in the context of conflicts, family, and social and psychological aspects, in addition to training on the principles of Psychological First Aid (PFA) and safe and confidential referral mechanisms for victims.
