Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul-Amir Abdul-Fattlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the college completed a workshop on international standards in public health. The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Basma Jassim Mohammed, Professor Dr. Zahra Abdul-Jabbar, and Assistant Professor Dr. Aseel Abdul-Ridha Saeed. International veterinary standards are a set of global rules and guidelines established by reputable international organizations, most notably the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), with the aim of standardizing animal health and welfare practices and ensuring the safety of international trade. These standards are considered a fundamental reference for the World Trade Organization (WTO).
