Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Professor Dr. Sattar Hamid Al-Janabi, the Physics Department at the College of Education, Al-Qadisiyah University, organized a cultural and scientific celebration on the occasion of the International Day of Science for Peace and Development.
The celebration opened with a speech by the Dean of the College, followed by a speech by the Head of the Physics Department, Professor Dr. Salim Azara Hussein. Following this, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Hamid Wannas delivered a lecture on the relationship between science, peace, and sustainable development. This was followed by another lecture from Professor Dr. Salim Azara Hussein on the importance of solar energy and its role in promoting sustainable development.
The celebration program also included a presentation of the most significant achievements of the Department of Scientific Physics, in addition to a scientific seminar presented by graduate student Sinaa Mouhan Khalil
