A Scientific Seminar at the College of Law, Al-Qadisiyah University, on the Criminalization of Writing Scientific Research for Others

The Public Law Department at the College of Law, Al-Qadisiyah University, held a scientific seminar entitled “The Criminalization of Writing Scientific Research for Others.” The seminar targeted fourth-year students and featured presentations by Professor Dr. Zain Al-Abidin Awad Kadhim and Professor Dr. Ahmed Hamdallah Ahmed. The seminar aimed to clarify the most significant actions that could compromise the integrity of scientific research. Scientific research is one of the most important means by which humanity discovers scientific truths, enabling the development and advancement of society. Since every endeavor has its foundations, principles, and ethics, the seminar’s main conclusion was that writing scientific research for others refers to one party writing a scientific paper—whether for the requirements of a degree, title, rank, academic promotion, job, or other purpose—for another party and attributing it to that party, whether for payment or not.
