Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Professor Dr. Sattar Hamid Al-Janabi, and with the follow-up of the Director of the Student Activities Department, Professor Dr. Imad Awda Al-Amiri, and through the efforts of the Student Activities Division at the college, and in cooperation with the coordinators of the Al-Kafeel Youth Program affiliated with the Holy Abbasid Shrine, a training workshop entitled:
(The Snowball Effect: Sustainable Education Strategies) was held. The workshop was presented by trainer Professor Firas Al-Shammari in the Dr. Ahmed Al-Waeli Hall at the College of Education.
The workshop was of a high standard, as it included valuable information relevant to both social and academic realities, presented by the international human development trainer appointed by the Holy Abbasid Shrine. The workshop also aimed to solidify the principles of the educational process and ways to keep pace with modern developments, in addition to discussing topics related to management and leadership skills and building positive thinking that enables individuals to achieve their goals. It also addressed mechanisms for preparing a successful youth project that contributes to creating a self-reliant generation, through the “snowball effect” approach in sustainable education strategies, which garnered significant interest from the participants.
The workshop was widely welcomed by the attendees, who praised the valuable ideas presented, which were reflected positively in the students’ high level of engagement, attentiveness, and keen interest.
