The Department of Highway and Transportation Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Qadisiyah University, organized an advanced workshop titled “Virtual Reality Applications in Traffic Engineering.” The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Shaimaa Haider Shaheed. The workshop aimed to review the latest digital technologies available for developing and improving the efficiency and safety of traffic and urban transportation systems. It also emphasized the importance of digital transformation in transportation engineering and the necessity of keeping pace with modern technology to enhance the efficiency of planning, design, and operation processes for road networks.
