The Civil Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, Al-Qadisiyah University, organized a training course entitled “Innovations in Sustainable Concrete Mixes – Geopolymers.” The course was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Mohammed Kadhim and Lecturer Sarah Shaker Mazloum.
The course aimed to develop concrete mixes used in buildings by employing environmentally friendly technology and replacing cement with geopolymers (geopolymers) in concrete mixes. The course also focused on clarifying the importance and advantages of using geopolymers, explaining the necessary quantities, and outlining the conditions required to produce sustainable and effective concrete mixes.
