The Department of Roads and Transportation Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Qadisiyah University, held a training course entitled “Modern Trends in Urban Transportation: Sustainable Solutions for the Cities of Tomorrow.” The course was presented by Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Jassim Shokan.
The course aimed to develop the capabilities of participating academics, engineers, and those interested in urban planning and infrastructure, and to provide them with the latest insights into environmentally friendly and efficient transportation solutions. The course also focused on the importance of transitioning to more sustainable urban transportation models to address increasing challenges such as traffic congestion, environmental pollution, and resource depletion
