The College of Law at Al-Qadisiyah University received official notification from the Gita Law Institute (GIL) in India, confirming the selection of Professor Dr. Nizam Jabbar Talib, Dean of the College, to participate as a judge in the final rounds of the first International Virtual Moot Court Competition 2025. This competition is considered a significant global academic event in the field of moot court proceedings and aims to develop advocacy and arbitration skills among law students worldwide.
This selection is a testament to the academic standing of the College’s faculty and their renowned scholarly contributions in the fields of private international law and arbitration.
The final round of the competition will be held on December 13, 2025, at 10:30 AM, with the participation of leading international universities, judges, and legal experts from around the world. This representation is a valuable addition to the college, an opportunity to enhance the presence of Iraqi professors in international legal forums, and a reinforcement of the college’s efforts to engage with international academic institutions
