A specialized committee from the National Nuclear, Radiological, Chemical, and Biological Regulatory Authority visited the Nuclear Physics Laboratory in the Physics Department at the College of Education, Al-Qadisiyah University, to conduct the annual periodic inspection of the radioactivity of educational resources in the laboratory. The visit was attended by the Head of the Physics Department, Professor Dr. Salim Azara, the Head of the Chemical, Biological, and Radiological Safety and Security Division at the University Presidency, and a number of faculty members from the department.
The visit included an inventory of all radioactive sources in the Nuclear and Atomic Physics Laboratory and an assessment of their impact on students and staff by measuring the radioactivity of each source and evaluating the associated safety levels. With it
