The Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Qadisiyah University, held a specialized training course entitled “Green Buildings and Sustainability Standards in Civil Engineering,” presented by Eng. Walaa Mohammed Hamza and Eng. M. Maha Abdul Subhan
The course focused on the importance of applying sustainability standards in the design and implementation of engineering projects, highlighting the principles of green buildings. It also discussed international frameworks and standards for evaluating green buildings, such as the LEED system, and how to integrate these requirements into all engineering project phases.
