Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Hayawi Wiwa Atiyah, Dean of the College of Agriculture, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Agriculture organized a scientific workshop entitled “The Role of Libraries in Promoting Reading, Scientific Research, and Reducing Plagiarism.” The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturers Ru’a Rahim Hamza, Saja Jawad Abdullah, and Saja Nazim Hussein.
The workshop aimed to highlight the paramount importance of reading and its role in developing individual and cultural awareness, as well as to introduce the role of academic and public libraries in providing a knowledge-based environment that supports learners and researchers by offering access to reliable resources.
