The Department of Materials Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Qadisiyah University, held a specialized scientific workshop entitled “The Role of 3D Printing in Manufacturing Precision Parts.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Marwa Ghazi Karim.
The workshop aimed to highlight 3D printing as a modern manufacturing technology and a fundamental pillar of continuous innovation. It relies on building parts layer by layer to produce industrial components with exceptional engineering precision and unprecedented dimensional complexity.
The workshop also explained that the primary goal of this technology is to overcome the limitations of traditional manufacturing and achieve improved designs that ensure maximum performance with minimal weight, thus contributing significantly to resource efficiency.
