The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Qadisiyah University, held a scientific training course entitled “Fundamentals of Student Calculation in the Bologna System.” The course was presented by Dr. Ali Muslim Abdul and Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan.
The course aimed to clarify the fundamental principles of the Bologna System, a European framework for standardizing and coordinating higher education. It focused particularly on how to calculate and evaluate student performance within this system. The course also covered the mechanisms for calculating ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) units and understanding the new structure of course grades and graduation requirements in line with international quality standards.
