Under the supervision of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the follow-up of the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Muhammad Hamza Al-Hashimi, and the Dean of the College of Education, Professor Dr. Sattar Hamid Al-Janabi, work has commenced on the large garage project at the College of Education and the widening of the central street located between the College of Education and the University Presidency building.
The central garage is located opposite the University Presidency building, adjacent to the Departments of Life Sciences and History, covering an area of 1512 square meters. It features high-quality specifications, two entrance and exit gates, and can accommodate more than 150 vehicles. This will alleviate the congestion caused by vehicle accumulation and haphazard parking in the streets surrounding the College of Education and neighboring colleges.
It is worth noting that this project, supervised by Engineer Hakim Kadhim Abis, one of the distinguished engineers at the College of Education, represents the largest parking garage being constructed by Al-Qadisiyah University within its master plan. It is part of a series of urban development projects launched by Al-Qadisiyah University to improve the university environment.
