Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Professor Dr. Dirgham Majeed Al-Fatlawi, the Social Guidance and Counseling Unit at the College of Nursing organized a scientific course entitled “Intellectual Extremism and its Impact on the Individual and Society.” The course was presented by Assistant Lecturer Rasel Jayez Shnein Al-Yasiri.
The course aimed to introduce students to the concept of extremism and explain its negative impact on the individual and society. It also covered several topics, including the characteristics of an extremist, the causes of extremism, and its types.
Key recommendations included the importance of supporting peace and education programs to counter violent extremism, promoting community dialogue, addressing social problems, and fostering a spirit of tolerance. Individuals
