A workshop was held at the College of Pharmacy, Al-Qadisiyah University, on enhancing women’s leadership capabilities and their role in building society.

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Asaad Hassan Al-Zaidy, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Pharmacy organized a workshop entitled “Enhancing Women’s Leadership Capabilities and Their Role in Building Society.” The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Awliya Jabbar Sahib Al-Hilali and Assistant Professor Dr. [Name Missing]. The workshop addressed the concept of leadership in general and the concept of women leaders in particular. It also highlighted the qualities of women leaders and the challenges they face, especially social, political, and economic challenges. Furthermore, it clarified the impact of women’s leadership and their role in society.

Key recommendations included the necessity of adhering to legislation that grants Iraqi women their rightful role in society and the importance of providing women with training through specialized workshops that develop and refine their skills and abilities.
