As part of the ongoing cooperation between the College of Veterinary Medicine and the Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Al-Diwaniyah Governorate, a field visit was organized to a number of livestock breeders (cattle and buffalo) in the surrounding rural areas.
The visit aimed to provide field veterinary services and enhance the practical skills of the college students through direct field work. A number of faculty members and veterinarians from the teaching hospital participated in the visit, along with a group of college students. A series of practical activities were carried out, including clinical examination of animals, diagnosis of diseases, provision of appropriate treatments, and administration of preventative vaccinations against infectious diseases.
