The Department of Materials Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Qadisiyah University, organized a specialized training course entitled “The General Framework for Writing Research Papers” in the Continuing Education Unit at the college. The course was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Ali Shaker Al-Saadi and Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Mudhaffar Hashim.
The course aimed to equip participants with the necessary scientific and methodological foundations and standards for preparing and writing sound research papers according to international standards. The lecturers also discussed in detail the general structure of a research paper, starting with formulating a suitable title and abstract, moving through writing the methodological introduction, presenting the results and discussion, and concluding with documenting sources and references.
