The College of Biotechnology at Al-Qadisiyah University has completed its preparations to participate in the “My School” initiative to support orphans, coinciding with the start of the new academic year.

In implementation of the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and in response to the national humanitarian initiative launched by His Excellency to support orphaned and needy students under the title “My School,” the College of Biotechnology at Al-Qadisiyah University is preparing to launch its activities related to the initiative.

The initiative comes under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Askari, and the follow-up of Professor Dr. Imad Awda Al-Amiri, Director of the Student Activities Department, and Professor Dr. Alaa Jabbar Al-Groushi, Head of the Student Activities Division at the College, in cooperation with the Volunteer Work Division in the Student Activities Department.

This initiative embodies the noble humanitarian values embraced by the university in promoting solidarity, generosity, and social responsibility, and in supporting orphaned students to provide a more equitable and just educational environment at the start of their new academic year.
