Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Hussein Jazaa, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Engineering held a workshop entitled “Mechanisms of Psychological and Legal Support for Abused Women.” The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer [Name Missing]. The workshop addressed ways to protect women from domestic and societal violence, focusing on mechanisms for legal and psychological support to empower them. The workshop also included discussions on key topics such as the types and forms of violence against women and its effects, national and international laws protecting women’s rights, methods of psychological support and social rehabilitation for abused women, and the role of academic institutions in spreading a culture of empowerment and community awareness.
