The aim of the study was to verify the prevalence of bacterial isolates in patients with gingivitis and to study the relationship between gingivitis and obesity.
The study demonstrated a clear relationship between gingivitis and obesity. The results indicate that the prevalence of bacteria is higher in patients with gingivitis who are obese. These findings highlight the importance of considering obesity as a risk factor when managing and preventing gingivitis.
