Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kallaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Diseases and Poultry Diseases at the college held a seminar entitled “Common Diseases in Poultry Farms in Iraq.” The seminar was presented by Dr. Mahasin Abdul Razzaq Khadir
The episode aimed to identify the most common diseases in poultry farms in Iraq and explain the signs and side effects of these diseases. The episode also covered the most common diseases that cause economic losses in the poultry industry and the factors that increase the severity of infections and their spread between halls and poultry farms, including weather conditions. The episode also examined the methods and solutions that must be taken by the relevant authorities to maintain a safe and healthy environment for most poultry projects. This can be achieved by implementing biosecurity measures and controlling vaccine imports.
