Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Amir Abdul Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the college held an educational seminar entitled “Enhancing Women’s Capacities in Society: Decision-Making as a Model.” M.M. Mona Nema Jabbar and Ms. Mead Qader moderated the seminar.
The seminar aimed to empower women, enhance their active role in decision-making positions, and highlight the importance of women’s participation in community and administrative development.
The seminar included a presentation of the most prominent challenges facing women in assuming leadership positions, and presented successful models of pioneering women in various fields. It also included interactive discussions on ways to support women in the workplace and education.
