Under the patronage of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kallaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Professor Dr. Dhurgham Majeed Hamid Al-Fatlawi, the College of Nursing held a scientific course entitled “Preserving People’s Lives Through Building Safety and Security Procedures.” Presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sajida Khamis Abdullah and M.M. Asmaa Hamoud Hawas
The course aimed to raise awareness of the importance of implementing public safety standards in buildings and facilities, and to reduce potential risks resulting from negligence or weak preventive measures.
The course also included a discussion of fire prevention methods, safe evacuation plans, and the importance of regular maintenance of alarm and firefighting systems. Participants were also trained on proper behavior during emergencies.
