Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rahi Kallaf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Dhurgham Majeed Hamid Al-Fatlawi, Dean of the College of Nursing, the College of Nursing held a simplified scientific course for nursing staff on responding to cases of ventricular fibrillation. The course was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Abdul Amir Tuwair, Assistant Professor Baha Marza Sakhil, and Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Fakhri Aziz and University Nurse Mustafa Habib Nour
The course aimed to enhance the nursing staff’s ability to quickly identify and respond to ventricular fibrillation cases effectively by applying cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) protocols and using a defibrillator correctly and safely. This contributes to increasing the chances of saving patients’ lives and reducing complications resulting from delayed intervention.
