The Student Activities Department at Al-Qadisiyah University – Volunteer Work Division, in cooperation with the Student Activities Division in the College of Arts, the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, and the Sons of Engineers Gathering/Popular Mobilization Authority’s Public Relations Department, held a practical training workshop entitled:
(First Aid)
The workshop was moderated by Dr. Ahmed Jalab Al-Khalidi,
and lectured by Mr. Hassan Sabri Sarhan, representing the Red Crescent Society in Diwaniyah.
The workshop included training participants on how to properly handle sudden injuries such as accidents, burns, suffocation, epileptic seizures, tongue-sucking, and various emergency situations. It also covered mechanisms to protect the first responder and the injured, methods of transporting the injured, and access to support medical facilities.
